Leadership Traits
Joan can be described as being a very bold and faithful leader. As explained on “newadvent.org”, “ Joan first became conscious of that manifestation, whose supernatural character it would now be rash to question, which she afterwards came to call her “Voices” of her counsel” (St. Joan of Arc 1). This means that Joan had the guidance of god, which led her in the path of being a leader to fight for her country. This matters because in the end she was known as a “Saint” that led to victory known as “Hundred Years’ War”. Furthermore, Jacques d’ Arc, Joan’s father, was a small peasant farmer, poor but not needy” (St. Joan of Arc 1). This just shows how Joan came from having nothing and ended up proving how capable of a leader she was. This matters because she was canonized (to be a saint) 25 years after her death, along with the others that made an impact in history.Overall Joan’s actions to lead a French Military and have victory against the British at the time proves that Joan is a bold and faithful leader.
